We would not be able to host the Harpoon Dogtoberfest year after year without our hardworking, loyal, and enthusiastic Harpoon volunteers. From start to finish, these volunteers are friendly and motivating, making the Harpoon Dogtoberfest experience that much more memorable for everyone they come in contact with. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers from past, present, and future races!
Please note, you cannot volunteer with a dog. It's not safe for the dog, and you won't be able to perform your volunteer position.
VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE:

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
Volunteers must be 21 years or older.
Volunteer Positions:
Registration Volunteers: Give runners their bibs, and direct the runners and pups to the start line.
Cups/Crowd Volunteers: Help guide runners to where things are on-site and hand out cups to people when they enter.
Start/Finish Volunteers: Stand at the start/finish line to point runners to the post-race party, as well as set up water at the finish line.
Course Volunteers: Direct runners at the parts of the course that may not be well-defined and cheer them on.
Water Stop Volunteers: Set up/break down the water stop, hand out water to runners as they pass, and cheer the runners on.
